S77 DEF troubles.

Have a 2012 S77 combine here throwing error code: 521008/ 1

SCR system error: DEF pressure build up failure.

Agco has suggested it could be the DEF pump or the head unit on the DEF tank itself. Tried switching pumps between our two combines and error code still trips so we think the pump is ok.

Have a new control/ head unit that goes on top of and into the def tank to install and try next. Guess the tube that holds def can crack due to freezing, thus causing air leak and pressure problems.

Tried removing the old one and find it is quite hard to turn and get out of tank. Seems like we can only turn the head unit an 1/8 th of a turn or less counter clockwise, then try to pull up. Lots of resistance pulling it up and don't want to wreck the tank.

Anyone else removed one of these before? Should be an easy swap but I don't want to wreck something else in the process.

Combine MF 9795 Fuel indicator broken

Hi,

My Massey combine 9795 got the low-fuel warning lighten, but it isn't low on fuel.

The combine will start but it shuts down shortly after. I guess as a way to protect itself from no-fuel related problems.

The Massey dealer nearby have not found what was the problem.

Has anyone seen this before? Do you know a way we could fix it?

We're pleased to announce that we have launched a new smartphone view on the site, in addition to the recently added mobile view in the last upgrade. This version has been designed to have a cleaner look, to fit really nicely into mobile (iPhone, Android) browsers, and unlike most normal web based skins will also include features that are normally reserved for desktop or phone applications. We built this as we realize you all spend more time today on your phones on the forum than you did 2 years ago, and we want to get the mobile view to a place where you can do everything (and more!) that you can do on desktop.

A few notes as I know many of you may have questions:

* This does not replace the free or paid in-apps that you have, such as any mobile apps. This is web-only.
* This new skin will only show when you access the site from a modern (Android 4+, iPhone) phone. It will not show for older phones or for tablets, blackberries or windows phones.
* Please give us some time as we work through bugs. Give it a try, give us feedback in our mobile thread url, and give it a chance. Every change needs time to get used to!​

yield and moisture monitor problems Case-IH 9120

I have a 2009 CASE-IH 9120 combine that when the weather gets below 55 degrees the yield monitor will not work, it says that the connections failed, I had my local dealer work on this several times last year and they thought I was crazy when I told them it worked on warm days but wouldn't when it cooled off. (Usually they thought they had fixed it but actually it had warmed up and the sun shining on it made it work) I finally proved this by taking a hair dryer and blowing warm air on the sensor for about 10 minutes one night and after doing so it worked fine until I shut combine off and went to dump a truck load then when I came back it was same thing AFS 600 monitor would say no connection to yield monitor. Also my moisture sensor keeps blowing the in-line fuse, my local dealer put a 10 amp fuse in and it still blew fuse, motor seems to be fine because when I took it off and hooked it straight to 12 volt supply it ran fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.

2388 electric concave adjuster

The concaves in our 2388 will not move using the switch in the cab. I can manually adjust them though. What is the most likely cause of the electric adjuster not working? Thanks in advance.

caseih pick up header belts trouble?

We put new pickup belts on the header but we cant get them to track straight or turn. These were all new belts from westward parts. Anyone have any idea how get them straight.

840 Claas Chopper hydraulics

We have a 491 Class chopper that is a 840 series. We are getting ready to start chopping earlage. The head we have is a JD 608 combine head, that we bought an adapter plate to use on our chopper. The chopper will only lift the head about one foot off the ground. I would like to know if there is any way we can adjust the hydraulics, or do we need to buy a certain hydraulic lift kit for the machine?

Hi I want to buy a McCormick 80 combine. It seems in pretty good shape and the price is good but it's old I know. I have a friend that keeps telling me "they are to much work to make it worth while". I was wanting to ask anyone out there how hard is it to take care of a old combine? I only have about 10 acres now and hope to expand to 50 or 60.

Tire repair

I ran over a metal feed bunk that was hiding in the weeds with the front tire of our 4440. It has new 4 rib tires on the front and I sliced the inside rib all the way through and into the body of the tire, but not into the cords. Is there anything that can be done to keep the flap attached or prevent it from tearing farther?

Posting from the Southern hemisphere, and was wondering if there were any updates on the new corn front from Gerinhoff. When are they due for release? Is there any ideas on price? And are there any thoughts out there on this type of concept?.... it seems like a nice idea to me.

MacDon FD70 piece of crap

I had to have a kit put in the right hand fore aft ram on my 35ft FD70,I had to just about totally dismantle the arm just to get the dad blasted ram off, then when I get it fixed,It extended, now it won't move either way, how the ====do I bleed the dad gum ram so it will move. the other 2 move out this one won't move at all. it is on a JD 9870.HELP!!!!!!!

EARLY R52 return to cylinder

We are about to upgrade from our M2 to a 1992 R52. Can a return to cylinder kit be added to a 1992 R52? We do a variety of small grains and think this would be worth valuable. We are in PA and There are few Return to Cylinder machines out east.
What other mods would be worthwhile for threshing small grains and possibly clover down the road?

How do u handle the stubble after a stripper front

Everything you read about stripper fronts is very positive, but the one thing that stops most of us buying them is dealing with the extra stubble.
What is the answer ?
Disc seeders
Second cutter bar
Swathing and baling
Kelly chain
Discing
Burning
That extra capacity at harvesting is hard to ignore, what are the owners of stripper fronts doing and are there compromises in yields ?
